THE DESIRE
After the success of our 10k one-day print sale the Sherpa Photo Fund collab with Nat Geo, Aaron Huey and I decided to co-found an experimental art publishing house with the hopes of creating genre-bending books that did not yield to orthodoxy or capitalism.
THE CREATION
Smithsonian Magazine recognized our first trade title, Where the Heaven Flowers Grow, as one of the top ten photography books of 2015. Shepard Fairey partnered with us for our Super Limited edition of Huey’s Mitakuye Oyasin, and our crowdfunding campaign for Cowboys, Indians, Tourists & Sunsets caught influencer attention from Jared Leto to Kid President. Our creations were featured in Time magazine, National Geographic, Juxtapose, DP Review, Vogue, Today, Business Insider, NPR, and other media outlets.
